Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Crewaid legal entity] (“Crewaid”, “we”). They cover the Crewaid desktop app, the hosted service behind it, and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you use Crewaid for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.

The Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy are part of these terms.

Crewaid lets you create AI teammates (“bots”). Your bots work on a computer of their own, each with its own screen and browser, and can use the models, plugins and accounts you connect to them. You can watch that screen, take control of it, teach a bot by showing it a task, and schedule work as routines.

We will keep improving the service, which means features change. When a change takes away something you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use Crewaid.
• You sign in with Google, GitHub or an emailed link. Keep access to those accounts secure; what is done through your account is your responsibility.
• Tell us straight away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

A bot does what you, your routines and your other bots ask of it, using the accounts and tools you give it. What a bot does with your access is done on your behalf, and you are responsible for it as if you had done it yourself: the messages it sends, the purchases or changes it makes, and the sites it uses.

You decide how much a bot may do without asking, per bot, from its approval setting. We recommend keeping approvals on for anything that sends, spends or deletes. Review a bot’s work before relying on it.

Bots are powered by AI models. Their output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and two runs of the same task can differ. Do not rely on it as professional (legal, medical, financial or similar) advice, and do not use it to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person without human review.

As between you and us, you own what you put into Crewaid and what your bots produce for you.

Your content is yours: messages, files, recordings, skills, memories and everything a bot produces for you. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store, process and transmit it, including sending it to the model provider a bot uses.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy.

Bots reach other services: model providers such as OpenRouter, OpenAI and Anthropic, the apps you connect as plugins, and the websites a bot visits. Those services have their own terms, which apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for them.

If you bring your own model key, the provider bills you directly for what that key is used for, and your agreement with that provider governs it.

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe, through our payment processor, Stripe. Starter includes a monthly amount of computer time; Pro keeps a computer on around the clock; both include a monthly amount of model use, charged at what each model call costs us.
• Starter begins with a trial: seven days for a one-time payment of $1, with less computer time and model use than the full plan. Unless you cancel before it ends, Starter then renews monthly at its full price. Each account can have one trial.
• What a plan includes is per billing period and does not carry over. When the computer time is used up, your computer stops until the plan renews or you upgrade; when the included model use is used up, the included models pause and models on your own keys keep working. We tell you before either runs out, and we never charge for usage beyond your plan.
• If a renewal payment fails, the plan’s computer and included models pause until the payment goes through. You can update your card at any time from the app.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• If we change a price or what a plan includes, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
• Self-hosting Crewaid is free and not a plan. The Custom plan is help setting it up and running it, and is governed by the order form you sign with us.

You and your bots must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend a bot, a routine or an account that breaks it, and where we can, we will tell you why first.

You can stop using Crewaid and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where the law requires it.

When your account ends, we delete your content within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep. You can ask us for a copy before then.

We provide Crewaid with reasonable care and skill, but it is provided “as is”: we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we will tell you at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Crewaid after that, the new terms apply.
